Hot Stamp Printing and Converting

Hot Stamping is a dry printing method in which predried ink or foils are transferred to a surface at high temperatures. In a hot stamping machine, an etched metal plate is mounted and heated, with the product to be stamped placed beneath it. A metalized or colored roll-leaf carrier is inserted between the two, and the plate presses down bonding the ink to the surface. The dry ink or foil used is impressed into the surface of the product. The Hot Stamping process itself is non-polluting because the materials involved are dry.

Our Hot Stamping equipment prints up to three colors, laminates and die-cuts in one pass. With fast set ups and inexpensive tooling, it economically produces long lasting, fade and abrasion resistant labels for indoor or outdoor use. Tamper evident and holographic security features can be incorporated as well. We stock a wide range of colors in addition to gold and silver foils. Custom colors are not available with this process.
