ABOUT LASER CUTTING & ENGRAVING

LASER CUTTING & ENRAVING IS A METHOD FOR TRANSFORMING A 2D FILE INTO A PHYSICAL OBJECT.

This technology can be performed on a variety of materials including flexible films, anodized aluminum, fibrous panels, acrylics and glass. Depending on how the laser is controlled, it can mark or etch the material’s surface which effects a color change or it can remove significant amounts of material (engraving) or be set to cut entirely through the material. Our Co2 laser machine has a table size of 11.5” X 17”. We also have a rotary fixture for the laser that allows us to mark cylindrical objects.
